Srushti deshmukh, in her third engineering year she has begun preparation for UPSC. After her graduation she began to question whether or not she would be satisfied in an engineer position. Later, she realized her passion was in civil service and began to concentrate on this. Her parents encouraged her to be a civil servant and pursue a career in public service. She was motivated to become an IAS officer and was committed on that goal. In order for UPSC to be successful it is more work required. As she studied her engineering subject She also had to study for various areas of the UPSC. She set aside time for exam preparation every day. She completed her engineering exams in just one and a half months. She stayed out of social situations. Her belief is that staying focused on the task at hand is the key to passing the exam. She was determined to pass the exam on the first go and put in a lot of effort. To stay informed about the latest news her routine was to browse through the newspapers.
